Rat Exterminator

Rat Exterminator is a comedic rat-hunting game on PC where you play as an exterminator investigating a modern building and eliminating every rat before the timer hits zero. Every rat you take down earns money, letting you unlock stronger tools for future levels. It’s fast, silly, and goal-driven—find the rats, improvise with tools, and clean the place out.

Core Loop

Enter a building → search rooms → locate rats

Exterminate rats before time runs out

Earn cash based on rats eliminated

Spend cash to unlock better tools/weapons

Clear levels to unlock new maps

Gameplay / Mechanics

Objective: eliminate all rats in the level

Starting tool: basic melee weapon (baseball bat)

Found tools inside levels (examples): Knives / Potted Plants / Dishware

Buyable tools between levels: Rat Radar (“Ratar”), traps, rodent spray

Win: clear all rats before timer ends → unlock next map

Lose: timer ends → still earn money for rats eliminated

Controls

Equip/unequip Bat: F

Open door/pick up item: E

Drop current item: Backspace

Attack: Left-click

Crouch: Left-Ctrl

Pause: Esc
